The author wishes to express a very special thank-you to the following for their invaluable support and assistance. These individuals saw the value of The City of Sarnia War Remembrance Project as a means to pay tribute to Sarnia’s fallen soldiers, to all those who served, and to the families of all soldiers. These individuals were instrumental in ensuring that the men and women of Sarnia-Lambton who served are remembered with honour.

Mayor Mike Bradley – From the very outset, his belief in the worth of the project, his incredible on-going support, and his desire to see the successful completion of the project was a great motivator. His admiration for the men and women of the military is abundantly evident as is his respect for their sacrifice.

Randy Evans – Randy brought enthusiasm, energy, and an attention to accuracy as well as a determination to uncover missing information. He had an extremely strong desire to pay honourable tribute to the fallen of World War I.

Lou Giancarlo and Tom St.Amand – These two gentlemen wholeheartedly volunteered countless hours of their expertise in proofreading and in editing the research, along with offering insight, suggestions, encouragement and advice. They ensured that the stories of Sarnia’s fallen are told with clarity and eloquence and that the memory of these brave souls and their families is preserved with reverence and respect.
