The National Film Board presents for The Department of Munitions and Supply: RX for Rubber.  A video about the Polymer rubber plant constructed in Sarnia Ontario.

Jim Russel contacted the historical society about this video and wanted to share.  “I worked at Arlanxeo (formerly Lanxess) for ~ 28 years. During the downsizing and decommissioning of the various departments and units during the 1990’s and early 2000’s there were a great deal of items that had been deemed as obsolete / irrelevant” recalls Russel.  “VHS videos were one of those items deemed as obsolete and thus were being disposed of. I noticed this VHS video in a pile of old tapes that were destined for the trash and thought that was a piece of Sarnia’s history; therefore I retrieved it from the trash bin and brought it home as a keepsake. A number of years later I copied it into DVD format for safe keeping and have now shared it with Sarnia Historical Society for all to view and enjoy a part of Sarnia’s history.”
